Tell us about your practice.

I’ve been in practice for 14 years—I was voted a “Top Doc” in 2016—and having treated many patients, I believe that functional and holistic medicine are the best way to treat chronic conditions. Functional medicine allows us to find the cause of illness, and treat it naturally. Combined with holistic injections and hands-on techniques, it can treat many conditions without having to use many medications.

What’s your healing philosophy?

Nutrition and diet are key to helping the body heal. Adopting a high-fat, low-carb diet helps with pain and weight loss, and avoiding gluten and dairy can relieve inflammation. Supplements can be used to relieve many conditions too. We always begin with lab tests: TSH, CRP, Lyme and tick panel, CBC iron levels, estrogen, testosterone, rheumatoid factor, ANA and leptin. Other tests can be ordered as follow-ups.

How do you treat pain?

Pain, muscle spasms and joint pain can be a component of various illnesses. Holistic and hands-on techniques can decrease or eliminate the need for pain medicines or anti-inflammatories. Osteopathic manipulation can ease pain from headaches, plantar fasciitis, muscle spasms, poor alignment and joint problems. Biopuncture, a homeopathic injection with minimal side effects, can be injected into muscles, joints and acupuncture points for pain relief.
