Eastover Estate and Eco-Village, in Lenox, Massachusetts, will celebrate World Qigong Taichi Day on April 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a free presentations, demonstrations and mini-classes offered by nationally recognized leaders of tai chi, qigong, Chinese medicine and Eastern philosophy. Healthy food vendors and natural health providers will also be on hand, offering their products and services.
“Anyone interested in learning about qigong and tai chi can bring their friends and family and dive into the wisdom of ancient Eastern healing traditions,” says Eastover founder Yingxing Wang. “With our knowledgeable teachers, they can discuss and experience practical, modern applications of these healing practices.”

Eastover has opened registration for two spring workshops, Women’s Qi Cultivation with Susan Krieger, scheduled for April 6-8, and Taichi and the Application of Taichi in Self Healing with Fukui Yang and Rick Barrett, scheduled for May 3-6.
Plans are already underway for Eastover’s Medical Qigong and Eastern Medicine Symposium, which will take place May 13-18. “Participants can join internationally renowned leaders in Eastern philosophy and practice and explore Eastern ancient healing traditions like qigong and tai chi,” Wang says. “This symposium welcomes beginners and experienced practitioners.” Among other activities offered will be meditation practice, study of the Tao Te Ching, and Chinese tea ceremonies.
