October will be busy at Eastover Estate and Eco-Village, a 600-acre holistic retreat center in the Berkshires. “We’ve prepared a lineup of several inspiring events, like CEU-credited training in Chi Nei Tsang Abdominal Massage, a 5,000-year-old modality that balances and harmonizes the internal organs while facilitating the clearing of blockages,” says Eastover’s co-founder, Yingxing Wang. Solla Pizzuto will teach that training from October 17 to 21, as well as Women’s Sexual Ecstasy: A Life-Force Activation, an October 17 workshop for women focused on enriching their self-care and deepening their awareness of intimacy and spiritual development. “The use of jade eggs to strengthen and revitalize the pelvic floor will also be explored,” Wang says. Beginning October 14, Grandmaster William CC Chen will lead a five-day retreat on Yang Short-Form Refinement, Applications and Push-Hands. According to Wang, “Grandmaster Chen is known as one of the most influential internal martial artists of his generation.” Also on October 14, Master Junfeng Li will begin a 36-day Sheng Zhen Meditation and Healing of the Heart retreat for spiritual seekers. “Students will practice qi cultivation as the basis of Sheng Zhen Gong, healing sounds, intermittent fasting and standing, seated and lying meditations, as they open their hearts to oneness and the gifts of Sheng Zhen, or universal unconditional love,” Wang says. The month’s events will wrap up with Entering the Dao: A Weekend of Meditation, Qigong and Tea Ceremony, with Solala Towler, October 26-28..
